A Year in Review – Top Five Moments

2019 has been a very rewarding year for emovis Ireland and as the year draws to a close, we take a look back on some of our top highlights…

New Business Development and Innovation Team

Emovis Ireland knows from experience how big a role the value of employee innovation plays to spur business growth. In 2019 we developed a new Business Development and Innovations Team to lead research projects and develop new technology solutions in the area of transport and mobility for Ireland.

Therefore, when an idea comes out of the company Think Tank, we take immediate action toward making it happen! With technology advancing at high velocity, the pace of innovation will only continue to pick up. Emovis Ireland is ensuring that our solutions and our clients are well positioned to stay ahead of the curve and deliver on their strategy in the area of transport and mobility.

Launch of EmovisIreland.ie

We launched our very own online platform showcasing our expertise and work nationally within Ireland. Our new site boasts excellent interactivity and responsive designs for the growing landscape of mobile and tablet device usage.

In addition, we want to keep our clients updated with the latest information on our new website, so we have developed new social media pages. Our social media accounts are thriving and continuously improve month on month.

Transport Ireland Conference

We were delighted to be the main sponsor of Transport Ireland Conference in 2019. The conference featured an excellent line up of speakers and a sold-out interactive exhibition area. Senior delegates, leaders and key influencers were in attendance from across the transport sector who discussed the important issues facing transport policy-makers and senior managers.

Going Places Podcast Video Series

We launched a first of its kind video series and podcast which focusses on Irish transport and mobility: ‘Going Places’. The podcast is hosted by renowned Irish broadcaster Aidan Power, who has previously featured on RTÉ, Virgin Media One, and the BBC. The aim of our innovative video series is to share knowledge and advance the national dialogue around the future of transport and mobility in Ireland in a new, interesting and engaging way.

The debut episode aired on 27th November on the Emovis’ YouTube channel and LinkedIn page and since then each episode has gone from strength to strength. A big thank you to our prestigious guests and supporters from:

  • Transport Infrastructure Ireland
  • Smart City Dublin
